More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Own account setup journey end‑to‑end - define minimum info per business type, unify ask + verify, and improve clarity during document submission and status, partnering with cross-functional teams on backend/compliance.

  • Drive adoption - build intent‑driven activation and guided onboarding into key features, working with cross-functional teams on the handoff to engagement/retention.

  • Lead with outcomes and experimentation - review and track the funnel, run discovery research on target customer segments, and release features across web, iOS, and Android. Ship, measure, iterate.

What success looks like

  • A simpler, faster setup with higher completion rates and lower drop‑off at known pain points, with clear communication throughout.

  • Build a bold activation journey that improves product discovery and first‑value milestones and reduces the share of verified customers who never transact.

  • Fewer support contacts during onboarding and higher satisfaction with setup and first‑use.

Qualifications

A bit about you

  • Drive clarity and agency: You set a bold vision, align stakeholders, and turn ambiguity into a deliverable roadmap.

  • Customer‑focussed: Always willing to talk to users, and have strong UX instincts across Web, iOS, and Android.

  • Data‑driven: you dive into funnels, diagnose drop‑offs, and tell a compelling story with data.

  • Technically fluent: you weigh platform trade‑offs and balance speed, quality, and compliance.

  • Clear communicator: you can influence across Engineering, Design/Research, Data, and Risk/Compliance.

  • A builder with 0 -> 1 experience (launched a new product, developed a domain from scratch, built teams or a company).

Nice to have

  • B2B - onboarding, verification/risk, payments/cards, or accounting integrations experience.

  • Familiarity with multi‑user accounts, roles/permissions, and entity/UBO complexity.

  • Experience designing intent‑based activation and lifecycle journeys.

How we work at Wise

  • Autonomous teams with accountability - iterate across platforms while partnering closely with cross-functional product and go-to-market teams.

  • Customer‑driven and pragmatic - simple experiences that wow customers and meet regulatory needs.

  • Outcome‑focused - prioritize the biggest funnel problems and measure what matters.

Practicalities

  • London and Budapest-based cross‑functional team (London - Design, Analyst, Content Design, Research. Budapest - Engineering).
