We are seeking a strategically minded, hands-on Senior Product Manager who is passionate about making it easier for veterinary professionals to find, learn about, use, and reorder the products their patients need by leading the design, development, and delivery of key B2B digital product experiences. This role is a critical pillar in advancing Zoetis' omni-channel sales and marketing capabilities and delivering VHT's Digital Engagement vision. In this position, you will own product strategy and the roadmap while actively driving execution with cross-functional partners.

You will lead teams across Marketing, Sales, UX, Analytics, and Technology to elevate end-to-end B2B customer experiences, including campaign integration, self-service capabilities, and digital journey optimization --ensuring a seamless, consistent experience across channels. Your leadership will help transform commercial ways of working and accelerate revenue growth for Zoetis US Commercial.

The ideal candidate brings deep, practical expertise in B2B digital products and ecommerce, informed by digital best practices across both B2C (retail) and B2B environments. You will leverage a strong digital analytics background --using VOC (Voice-of-Customer) and RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) and other data-driven models --to shape priorities, optimize usability, and improve performance. Partnering closely with Zoetis Technology and Development teams, you will translate business needs into a clear product strategy and roadmap that drives innovation and measurable business outcomes. The successful candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute digital strategies, programs, and tactics that consistently deliver targeted business results.

Core responsibilities:

  • Roadmap development

  • Define, prioritize, and communicate the strategic product roadmap aligned to business goals and customer needs.

  • Continuously assess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform decisions.

  • Partner with stakeholders to balance near-term execution with long-term strategic initiatives.

  • Ensure timely delivery of roadmap milestones while adapting to evolving priorities.

  • Establish SOPs, documentation standards, and disciplined backlog management.

  • Lead FFO (Field-Force Ordering) in partnership with Sales Digital Solutions and DRP (Distribution Rep Portal) in partnership with Channel team.

  • Integration of customer journeys

  • Lead the end-to-end design and optimization of seamless B2B digital customer journeys across key touchpoints (including ecommerce where applicable).

  • Identify and close experience gaps to increase engagement, conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction.

  • Partner with UX/UI, Marketing, and Analytics to deliver data-driven enhancements, personalization, and journey improvements.

  • Champion a customer-centric mindset throughout the product lifecycle to ensure solutions solve real user needs.

Reporting: 

  • Define outcomes-based performance model and measurement framework - frequently highlighting how product features released have directly impacted business results.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of B2B digital product experiences, including ecommerce; analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure the system meets business needs on a monthly/quarterly basis

  • Develop insight-based reporting with regular US Commercial and DDS Check Ins that showcase current state, insight driven recommendations and teaching moments for US Commercial 

People Leader:

  • Mentor & Develop product team members by providing constructive feedback, IDPs and aligned with Zoetis Core Beliefs 

Collaboration & Cross Functional Leadership:

  • Serve as the point of contact between ZTD, DDS and US Commercial 

  • Drive cross-functional alignment by facilitating communication and collaboration between product, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams.

  • Develop and implement change management strategies that promote adoption of new ecommerce technologies and processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop product roadmap: establish and communicate clear product vision and strategy, aligned with business objectives; create roadmap for proposed initiatives; ensure that the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized according to business needs; deliver projects from end-to-end

  • Gather and prioritize business requirements: collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., users, customer insights, etc.) to collect and prioritize business needs, ensuring they are accurately reflected in the digital capabilities built in ecommerce; translate business requirements into detailed user stories and user acceptance criteria; maintain product documentation         

  • Execute Omni Channel Experience: Collaborate with marketing and digital engagement to propose and execute ecommerce campaigns; translate approaches into digital capabilities that can be built in the ecommerce tools for an omni-channel experience          

  • Liaison with technical team: act as main point of contact between business users and the technical team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment; partner closely with ZTD and Data Digital Solutions teams to ensure timely and effective implementation of features in the tools; lead backlog refinement sessions; conduct rigorous testing and sign-off on release, to speak intelligently on the advantages and disadvantages of a broad range of eCommerce technologies and services         

  • Relationship Management: act as main point of contact between business users and the technical team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment; partner closely with marketing and digital enablement for journey pull through. Change Management required.          

  • Reporting Performance: Own outcomes model of performance, connecting each product decision to business results, and treating every release as a hypothesis to be tested and learned from.  Define measurement framework to track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our digital capabilities; analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure the system meets business needs on a monthly/quarterly basis.         

 
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree - Business Administration, Technology or related field 

  • 8-10 Years experience in product management, ecommerce and retail platforms 

  • Strong background in requirements gathering, with experience translating business needs into functional product requirements.

  • Deep knowledge of B2B and eCommerce platforms and experience in managing these platforms ideally in both the B2C (retail) and B2B space 

  • Demonstrated ability to define User Experience programs and mapping customer journeys, digital ecosystems, etc.

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution, with the ability to develop and implement product strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and advancing projects forward on time and complete

  • Strong customer focus with a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and market trends.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating product vision, strategy, and performance to diverse audiences.

  • Entrepreneurial in mindset and goal oriented (self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently)

  • Deep expertise with digital campaigns that drive monetization and conversion

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and manage through influence across multiple US Species Business Units, ITS and Enabling functions 

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $146,000 to $209,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.

This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
