Position Summary
This position will support DTS Beijing plant operation from product engineering perspective, including launch & production support, quality issue investigation, and post-production change management.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and conduct product engineering activities during and after product launch.
- Provide technical support to other functions in the production facility for DTS Beijing products, including Transfer Case, Coupling, Actuator, BLDC, etc.
- Lead resolution of product performance or durability issues related to production validation failures or warranty return
- Lead all engineering activities for post-production product changes including VAVE following change management process.
- Supporting the production facility in DFM/DFA activities and as a technical resource for the product throughout its life cycle.
- Define prototype control plan and lead prototype assembly runs at the production site
- Assess technical risk of component or process deviations
- Plan and follow-up product validation and other product engineering testing
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years working experience on automotive driveline product engineering or related area
- Good experience of UG, AutoCad. experience with Catia and TeamCenter is preferred.
- Quality tool skills are preferred
- Experience and/or training in root cause analysis
- Experience and/or training in APQP
- Experience and/or training in DFM/DFA
- Knowledge on actuator/BLDC motor preferred
- NVH background is preferred
- Process knowledge in manufacturing and assembly
- Proficiently use of office software like Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc….)
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Clear mind with patience
- Frequency oral English
