JOB MISSION:
As the Senior Product Developer for Football Apparel, you will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end product commercialization cycle, ensuring product readiness, viability and integrity aligned to New Balance policy, process and practices.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Developmental ownership of attributed seasonal range projects to deliver buy-readiness status aligned to calendar schedule and New Balance quality standards.

Key Tri-functional partnership with Design and Product Management counterparts to deliver against category ambition and seasonal strategies.

Preparation and management of technical product data to ensure effective facilitation of the development to production cycle.

Close collaboration with remote New Balance Sourcing counterparts to ensure a seamless communication between both the business unit and T1/2 vendor partnerships.

Co-lead of T1 vendor partnership collaboration to ensure category seasonal projects are embedded, supported and aligned to calendar schedule parameters.

Co-responsibility in delivering against seasonal product performance KPI’s, to ensure category health. (Margin, Developmental Costs etc).

Construction, fit, materialization and trim expertise to guide creative decision making and production viability throughout the design and development phase.

Accountable for leading and maintaining the integrity of critical PLM data systems in-line with the seasonal calendar schedule.

Lead seasonal Materials development process in partnership with functional counterparts and T2 mill vendors to ensure viability, quality assurance and readiness.

Management of quality risk in partnership with NB Quality teams, GBU counterparts and Vendor partners to actively facilitate remedial strategies.

Awareness and active accordance to product legislation as it pertains to the commercial marketplace.

Influence of seasonal sourcing routes and product allocation in partnership with Product Management and New Balance Sourcing counterparts.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

Degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Textiles, Apparel Merchandising or Business Administration.

Experience in a Product Development role.

Project Management skills and ability to manage complex multi seasonal concepts.

Collaborative and agile attitude and can drive purposeful partnerships.

Experience in managing/operating PLM product data system

Domestic and International travel required.

Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
