Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics.

What you will do:

• Maintain, develop, and implement automation systems primarily using Beckhoff PLC and TwinCAT software, and ideally able to also work with Siemens and TIA Portal
• Oversee the integration and lead verification of electrical control cabinets, including wiring, layout, and component selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop specifications, and ensure successful project execution, including new product developments
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and control system issues to ensure continuous and efficient operation, with a customer first mindset
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Who you are:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on Beckhoff PLC and TwinCAT software.
• Comfortable acting as SME and making decisions on behalf of the team with a customer first mindset
• Holds strong commitment to continuous improvement, is willing to act and able to influence others
• Experienced problem-solver, independently and as part of a team.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Siemens PLC Modification & use of TIA Portal software
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automation systems, including 21 CFR part 11 and GAMP
