Senior Product Designer

A day in the life (Responsibilities) 

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to be our foundational design presence in the UK. You won't just be 'localizing' features; you will be the primary advocate for the UK and London restaurant ecosystem. Your mission is to decode the unique operational challenges of British hospitality and translate them into world-class product experiences that feel native, not imported.

In this role, you will:

• Partner closely with product, engineering, and research to deeply understand our users and translate that understanding into thoughtful, intuitive product experiences.
  
• Design end-to-end workflows across responsive web and native mobile, delivering clear wireframes, flows, prototypes, and design specs that guide product development.
  
• Simplify complex, scaled operator workflows so restaurants can manage menus, locations, and configurations with clarity, consistency, and confidence.
  
• Contribute to the evolution of AI-driven tools that help operators make better, faster decisions.
  
• Apply systems thinking to design and evolve platform-level experiences, including multi-location management, restaurant configuration, and menu management, ensuring they scale coherently across product lines and support how restaurants actually operate.
  
• Partner closely with the Design System team to ensure consistency and long-term extensibility.
  
• Participate in design critiques and reviews, giving and receiving feedback that strengthens the quality of the work.
  
• Support qualitative and quantitative research activities, translating insights into actionable product improvements.
  
• Collaborate with localization and international teams to ensure designs are culturally appropriate and adaptable across different languages and regions.
  
• Advocate for customer-centered design, elevating user needs and helping maintain a high bar of craft across the team.

What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)

• Experience designing holistic, end-to-end product experiences—comfortable moving from broad journeys to detailed interactions.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, proactively seeking clarity and adapting as responsibilities evolve.
  
• Designing at a systems level  with comfort contributing to and shaping design systems, identifying reusable patterns, influencing standards, and collaborating with partners to balance product-specific needs with platform-wide scalability.
  
• Fluency in user-centered design methods and enough research literacy to ground design decisions in insights and data.
  
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; able to build trust and influence partners across disciplines.
  
• Enduring sense of curiosity with a desire to continuously learn and evolve.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and other prototyping or design collaboration tools.
  
• Passion for creating intuitive, delightful experiences that feel native across platforms and regions.
