Equip the workforce to win in the AI era
The Role

Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption.

We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that's transforming today’s workforce.

Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.

In June 2022, we announced a $220 million Series D funding round co-led by StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. With a post-money valuation of $1.7bn, the round makes us the UK’s first EdTech unicorn.

But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.
Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.

Your Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Product Fundamentals group. This is a pivotal role where you’ll define the interaction and visual language for our guidance tooling— specifically the Guidance Hub, a set of platform components that empower Multiverse’s coaches to help learners succeed. Your work will influence some of the most strategically important initiatives at Multiverse, from increasing learner retention on programme to enabling scale and quality across enterprise accounts.

What You’ll Do

  • Design AI-powered workflows that help coaches make smarter, faster decisions so learners succeed.

  • Own the end-to-end design — from early discovery through high-fidelity delivery.

  • Contribute to strategic product decisions in collaboration with product, engineering, and research.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and iterate designs and/ or work with a researcher.

  • Translate broad concepts into clear, meaningful user experiences that drive measurable business and user outcomes.

  • Drive adoption of scalable, design system-consistent patterns across the product.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and data to embed intelligence into the product experience.

  • Contribute to our design system and ensure visual and functional consistency across the product while championing accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) and ensuring visual and interaction quality.

What You’ll Bring

At Multiverse, our successful designers are exceptional in both UX and UI. They are fast, meticulous prototypers with a strong sense of visual polish. They are also hypothesis and data-driven in their product thinking, always keeping the broader system in mind.

  • A belief in the power of design to influence behaviour and deliver measurable outcomes, especially when paired with emerging technologies like AI.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — both visually and verbally.

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate product vision into intuitive experiences.

  • 7+ years of experience in product design, ideally in B2B, platform, internal tooling, or enterprise environments.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing slick visual polish, systems thinking, interactive prototypes, and a data-driven, user-centered design approach.

  • Hands-on experience across the full UX/UI spectrum — from discovery to delivery.

  • Experience working with design systems, expanding component libraries, or developing new reusable patterns from scratch.

  • Comfort navigating complex UIs, tech stacks, data heavy flows and collaborating with engineers and data specialists.

What Success Looks Like (in your first 6–12 months)

  • You’ve shipped a refreshed experience that’s used daily by our users.

  • You’ve contributed to the design system with scalable, accessible components.

  • You’ve helped shape product direction through thoughtful critique and experimentation.

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 5 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days, 2 company-wide wellbeing days (M-Powered Weekend) and 8 bank holidays per year

  • Health & Wellness- private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, gym membership & wellness resources through Wellhub and access to Spill - all in one mental health support

  • Hybrid work offering - for most roles we collaborate in the office three days per week with the exception of Coaches and Instructors who collaborate in the office once a month

  • Work-from-anywhere scheme - you'll have the opportunity to work from anywhere, up to 10 days per year

  • Space to connect: Beyond the desk, we make time for weekly catch-ups, seasonal celebrations, and have a kitchen that’s always stocked!
