The Role

As part of the Silicon Solutions Team, we seek a Senior Product Definition Engineer. Our team delivers groundbreaking solutions to productize NVIDIA's chips in consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive markets.

What you'll be doing:

  • Understand product performance and power targets, trade-off features/configurations, and provide innovative solutions to sophisticated silicon and system-level problems.

  • Evaluate Performance, power, yield, and quality optimizations for the world’s fastest power-shipping products in the GPU and SOC market segments spanning gaming, automotive, datacenter, and DL/AI.

  • Identify performance and power-limiting constraints and drive product-specific customizations. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive silicon and system product features to production.

  • Lead the teams to implementing efficient time-to-market strategies.

  • Partner with the internal Tools and Methodology team to further improve the tools infrastructure and test procedure.

  • Work alongside system architects, chip and board designers, software/firmware engineers, HW/SW applications engineering, process/reliability specialists, ATE engineers, product managers, sales, and operations in a creative, high-energy work environment to bring industry-defining products to market.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in EE, CE, CS, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product performance and power evaluations.

  • Experience with system-level features, product binning methods, optimization techniques, methods, and data analysis and statistics tools.

  • Background in critical path analysis, power/performance analysis, process technologies, and transistor/device physics.

  • Experience with silicon bringup and validation, frequency and power characterization, product analysis, and optimization.

  • Exposure to digital design, circuit analysis, computer architecture, and CPU/GPU/SOC architecture.

#LI-Hybrid

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 4, and 196,000 USD - 310,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
