Senior Product Costing Analyst EMEA
Role Overview:
We are setting up our Product Costing Team in our Huntsman GBS Hub in Krakow. That’s why we are looking for various levels of Product Costing Analysts (junior up to senior) to join our dynamic team and help drive smarter decisions through insightful cost analysis and inventory control. We are looking for people who are eager to take part in the transition of such an important area in Finance.
As a Senior Product Costing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial transparency and operational efficiency across Huntsman's European business. You’ll be part of a dynamic team within the Accounting EAME organization ensuring accurate cost control, insightful analysis, and compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and local fiscal standards. Product costing is a critical process that involves calculating the total costs associated with producing a product, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses.

Role Responsibilities:
Cost Control & Reporting
Controlling and managing Product Costing activities on cost center level to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
Perform month-end close tasks including production variance and purchase price analysis.
Lead annual recovery rate calculations and follow-ups.
Inventory & Production Analysis
Conduct monthly revaluation and analysis of inventory using periodic unit price (moving average price)
Oversee regular production settlements and ensure correct Bill of Materials and routings for standard cost accuracy.
Financial Insight & Compliance
Review Balance Sheet and P&L impacts related to inventory flows and contribution margins.
Maintain and enhance internal controls for Product Costing processes in line with SOX requirements.
Data & Systems
Analyze large datasets for Product Costing insights and reconciliation.
Prepare and deliver monthly reports with actionable recommendations.
Propose system and procedural improvements for greater efficiency.
Experience and Competencies:
What we are looking for:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Min. 3 years of experience in cost controlling, ideally within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Advanced SAP skills (FI, CO, COPA), SAP Product Costing
Knowledge of SAP (MM, SD) is a benefit.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Strong analytical mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication skills in English.

Positive, can-do attitude, with a willingness to take initiative, embrace challenges, and drive results even in complex situations.
