Why This Role Matters
As a Senior Product Configuration Analyst, you’ll play a key role in Delaware Life’s growth and long-term success by enabling Delaware Life’s products to be sold and serviced on the industry Annuity Order Entry platforms. In addition, you will support Annuity Order Entry platform enhancements requested by internal business partners, external distributor partners and industry partners.
As a member of the Sales Technology Team, this role will partner with other Business Quality, New Business, Back Office Technology, and Industry Relationship teams to drive change and improvements in the B2B space. The position will actively interface with business and IT intermediaries to understand and meet their needs.
What You'll Do:
- Implement new products and features on order entry platforms.
- Modify existing products on order entry platforms.
- Forms and carrier questions configurations on order entry platforms.
- Review platform changes to help determine the impact on Delaware Life’s business needs.
- Unit test Delaware configurations as well as applicable software releases.
- Build and maintain understanding of Delaware Life product workflows and not in good order requirements.
- Represent Delaware Life on industry working groups for carriers, distributor partners, and platform vendors.
- Successfully manage competing priorities and navigate within ambiguity.
- Maintain accountabilities for all assigned work, provide accurate estimates on work to completed, and provide descriptions of work completed.
- Communicate status of ongoing work internally within team and externally with clients, where applicable.
- Provide support to business areas, investigating operational and technical problems/inquiries, and recommending and implementing solutions.
- Work with various business units to ensure that solutions are produced in accordance with the business requirements and are effectively validated.
- Administer and advance Order Entry platform development standards and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
- 5 years product configuration (forms and product) experience with Zinnia AnnuityNet, iPipeline Affirm, or iCapital Firelight platforms, as well as associated tools.
- 5 year's experience with forms tagging, rules, data mapping, and e-Signature tagging.
- Working knowledge of ACORD data standards and supporting XML supporting structures.
- Experience representing carrier priorities and exerting influence on the direction of the industry.
- Detail oriented, with an analytical approach.
- Excellent problem solving, root cause analysis, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong team player and results oriented.
- Willingness to share knowledge and to collaborate on strengthening team expertise.
- Experience with deployment strategies in a complex, concurrent development environment.
- Knowledge of platform architecture and integration with enterprise architecture.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The total compensation for this position ranges from $120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $145,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
