Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Product Acceptance Tester, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our products meet the highest standards before they reach our customers. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about product quality and customer experience, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to think from both a business and customer perspective. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business stakeholders, and operations, to ensure that products meet the requirements and deliver value. No deep technical background is required-what's essential is a strong understanding of product functionality, customer needs, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Conduct thorough product tests to ensure they meet both business requirements and customer expectations.
- Review product features and functionality from a business perspective, focusing on whether the product solves the right problems for the customer.
- Work with the QA team to develop simple, easy-to-follow test cases and plans to ensure product performance aligns with business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with product managers, marketing teams, and other business stakeholders to gather insights on product functionality, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
- Communicate feedback and testing results clearly to non-technical stakeholders, helping them understand product readiness for market.
- Serve as a bridge between business teams and IT, ensuring that the customer experience remains a top priority during product development.
Customer-Centric Focus
- Test products from the customer's perspective, identifying areas for improvement that will enhance the overall user experience.
- Provide actionable feedback to product teams on customer-facing features, focusing on ease of use and functionality that aligns with customer needs.
- Champion the voice of the customer during the product testing phase, ensuring that product features deliver real value.
Problem Identification and Reporting
- Identify product issues that could impact the customer experience, such as usability challenges, performance problems, or feature gaps.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to prioritize issues, focusing on those with the greatest business impact.
- Ensure that defects and issues are documented clearly and effectively for both technical and business audiences.
Process and Improvement
- Continuously seek to improve product testing processes by suggesting business-focused test approaches that reduce time to market without compromising quality.
- Keep up to date with new product developments and market trends, ensuring that testing remains relevant and aligned with business strategies.
Skills, Experience and Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in a product and/or acceptance testing role focused on product delivery and customer experience.
- Strong understanding of business processes and how products are used to achieve business goals.
- Experience in customer feedback, market research, or product marketing is a plus.
- Familiarity with product life-cycle management and understanding of business metrics like customer satisfaction and retention.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
