Job Description:
We’re looking for a Procurement Sourcing Senior Specialist to join our Procurement COE team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to drive and support global sourcing and contracting events in the low impact stream of Manulife’s indirect spend categories including but not limited to, Marketing, Real Estate, IT, (either or all of Hardware, Software, SaaS, Telecom) HR, Office Supplies, Business Print and Professional Services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing initiatives according to established spend thresholds, ensuring timelines are met while maintaining the integrity and quality of the Intake to Contracting (I2C) process.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with business unit owners and vendors.
- Conduct negotiations to secure deals that drive savings and meet business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and standards and manage the work intake tools (Ivalua).
- Maintain engagement with Category Managers/Tower Leads to share best practices and align with category strategies.
- Review and negotiate vendor contracts with vendors, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
- Coordinate with functional subject matter experts such as Risk, Legal, Finance, and Tax to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Support business units' understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems.
- Drive efficiencies and reduce the cycle time of assigned deals to improve internal stakeholder satisfaction and user experience.
Reporting Line
- The Procurement Sourcing Assistant Manager will report to the Procurement Manager and work closely with Category Managers, Tower Leads, and other key stakeholders across the organization.

- The position is based in Quezon City
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement
- Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:
- Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Analytical skills to perform detailed cost analysis and market research.
- Proficiency in procurement systems such as Ivalua.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attentive to details
- Can work efficiently under minimum supervision
- Willing to work on Night Shift
