In-person collaboration is essential to Notion's culture. We require all team members to work from our offices on Mondays and Thursdays, our designated Anchor Days. Certain teams or positions may require additional in-office workdays.

About The Role:

Procurement at Notion is about enabling fast, secure, and responsible growth. We're looking for a strategic leader to drive our procurement operations forward. As Senior Procurement Operations Manager, you'll build systems and processes that scale, optimize how we source and manage vendor relationships, and ensure our team has everything they need to do their best work.

This position will drive operational excellence by owning procurement technology, improving end to end source to pay (S2P) processes, and enabling visibility and scalability across the organization.

What You'll Achieve:
  • Systems and Technology: Own procurement and collaborate on source-to-pay (S2P) systems, partnering closely with system administrators and cross-functional teams to support integrated platforms (e.g., Zip, NetSuite, Ironclad, Ramp, Navan or similar).

  • Scale operations: Design and implement systems and workflows that grow with the company while maintaining operational excellence. Identify operational requirements, gaps, and inefficiencies across the source-to-pay (S2P) lifecycle and develop solutions that drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce spend without compromising on quality or reliability.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, IT and department leaders to align source to pay (S2P) systems and processes to support business needs. This includes designing and executing procurement processes that balance cost efficiency, quality and speed.

  • Data and Decision-Making: Leverage procurement software and data analytics to improve decision-making and transparency. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting (spend, compliance, cycle time and supplier metrics) for Finance, Sourcing and department leaders

  • Process Efficiency and Adoption: Reduce cycle times and lead effective rollouts of new policies and tools. Own change management, training, documentation, and communication strategies to drive adoption and long-term success.

  • Finance Partnership: Support forecasting, accruals, and enhanced spend visibility.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide guidance, roadmap and solutions for source-to-pay (S2P) operations and industry best practices.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:
  • Experience: 10+ years in procurement operations, including 5+ years leading teams, preferably in a high-growth environment.

  • Procurement Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience supporting and optimizing procurement and end-to-end source-to-pay (S2P) platforms, with deep knowledge of system functionality, configuration, operations, and compliance, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.

  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders while managing and optimizing external vendor and technology partnerships to drive business outcomes, efficiency, and scale.

  • Process-Oriented: You love building systems that make work more efficient and scalable.

  • Data-driven: Comfortable using analytics to guide decisions, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Excellent Communication: Clear, persuasive, and effective at engaging executives, stakeholders, and team members across all levels.

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience in fast-growing or tech-forward companies

  • Familiarity with procurement software and automation tools like Zip

  • Experience with Accounts Payable and Travel
