Senior Procurement Officer

Responsibilities

• Comply strictly with the Company’s procurement guidelines, policies, code of ethics and procedures as well as with all legislations, in the job activities. 
• Capitalize, where appropriate, on Supply Contracts to reduce administrative costs and benefit from economies of scale.
• Use negotiation skills and procurement international standard practices to obtain best terms of supplies, improved prices and cost savings. 
• Assess tenders and quotations based on the comparative cost analysis or total cost of ownership concept, as applicable.
• Participate in the establishment of annual procurement budget of SWAN.
• Manage supply contract from start to end and ensure satisfactory completion by vendors.
• Keep abreast of the market trends and developments, external competition and new products, services and sources of supplies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holder of a degree from a recognized institution would be an advantage
• Have at least 3 years relevant experience in a similar position
• Should be studying towards the Chartered Institute of Procurement and supplies (UK)
• Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Results oriented with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
