About us

We are looking for a commercially strong and stakeholder-focused Senior Procurement Manager, Corporate Services to lead sourcing and supplier management across key corporate services categories, including HR services, professional services, legal, consulting, recruitment and broader business support spend.

About the role

This Senior Manager role is critical in ensuring the organisation has access to high-quality external partners while maintaining cost discipline, strong governance, service performance, and compliance. The role will support corporate functions by shaping demand, improving supplier models, and delivering commercially effective sourcing outcomes.

You will operate as a hands-on category leader, combining strategic category planning with strong execution across sourcing, negotiation, contracting, supplier performance, and risk management.

 What You’ll Be Responsible For

Strategic Impact

  • Develop and execute category strategies across assigned corporate services spend areas, aligned to business priorities and functional requirements.

  • Partner with HR, Finance, Legal and business leaders to understand demand, shape requirements, and identify opportunities to improve value and service delivery.

  • Monitor market trends across consulting, professional services, workforce solutions, recruitment, legal services, outsourcing, and business support categories.

  • Drive change management and support procurement transformation initiatives, including process improvement, supplier governance, digitalisation, and operating model improvements.

Sourcing & Category Delivery

  • Lead sourcing activities across corporate services categories, including consulting, HR services, recruitment, legal, outsourcing, and business operations.

  • Design and implement supplier panels, preferred supplier arrangements, rate cards, service frameworks, and commercial models that improve value and governance.

  • Deliver commercial value through cost benchmarking, demand management, negotiation, supplier consolidation, and improved buying channels.

  • Build robust sourcing recommendations supported by market insight, stakeholder input, commercial analysis, risk assessment, and service requirements.

  • Ensure sourcing activity is executed with pace, discipline, and clear alignment to business priorities.

Stakeholder & Supplier Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal and business functions.

  • Act as a commercial advisor, helping stakeholders navigate supplier options, commercial trade-offs, risk considerations, and sourcing decisions.

  • Manage supplier relationships across key corporate services categories, ensuring performance, value delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead resolution of complex commercial, contractual, supplier performance, and service quality issues.

Commercial & Operational Excellence

  • Drive efficiencies through supplier consolidation, standardised frameworks, improved demand planning, and clearer governance over services spend.

  • Embed data-led decision-making through spend analysis, benchmarking, rate card reviews, contract compliance, and value tracking.

  • Strengthen financial controls, contract management, approval discipline, and audit readiness across assigned categories.

  • Support the adoption of procurement tools, reporting, templates, and repeatable processes to improve efficiency and transparency.

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure responsible sourcing across labour-intensive, advisory, professional, recruitment, and outsourced services.

  • Work with Legal, HR, Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams to manage contractual, regulatory, reputational, operational, and labour-related risks.

  • Ensure supplier arrangements meet relevant policy, ethical, data protection, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.

  • Maintain strong governance over supplier selection, contract terms, service delivery, and performance management.

Team & Capability Building

  • Provide guidance and support to procurement colleagues involved in corporate services sourcing or supplier management activity.

  • Share category insight, sourcing approaches, negotiation strategies, and best practice across the wider procurement team.

  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, continuous improvement, and ethical conduct.

About you
  • Significant experience in indirect procurement, with strong exposure to corporate services, professional services, HR services, recruitment, legal, outsourcing, or managed services.

  • Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in sourcing strategy, negotiation, supplier frameworks, contract structuring, cost optimisation, and supplier management.

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across corporate functions and balance commercial outcomes with service quality, risk, and compliance.

  • Strong analytical capability, including spend analysis, benchmarking, rate card assessment, supplier performance review, and business case development.

  • Experience managing complex supplier ecosystems and service-based categories in a global or matrixed organisation.

  • Confident operating at pace in a changing environment, with the ability to manage ambiguity and competing stakeholder requirements.

  • Strategic and operational excellence: translates strategy into action, ensuring rigour, consistency, and execution throughout the source-to-contract cycle and supplier engagement.
