The Role

As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are hiring for a Sr. Procurement Coordinator to join our Global Strategic Procurement team. The Sr. Procurement Coordinator will report to the Manager, Procurement Excellence and support the Global Procurement team members in both Direct and Indirect Procurement with administrative duties, reporting, analytical support, document management and projects as assigned. 

This position will work Monday – Friday remote in the US.

The Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Global Procurement intranet share point site; maintenance, document control and point of contact for inquiries and requests.

  • Data analysis - collect, analyze and interpret spend data for direct and indirect procurement working collaboratively with the Global Procurement team.

  • Support QO next program for Procurement with cost savings tracking, data analysis and reporting. Other activities as assigned.

  • Generate Procurement monthly, quarterly data reports on spend, contracts and other key performance indicators.

  • Supports development of standardized Global Procurement Processes & Procedures.

  • Supports QIC continuous improvement activities as well as meeting department and Quidel Ortho company goals.

  • Works both independently and collaboratively with the Global Procurement team and business partners.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual:

Required

  • Minimum 3+ years of related experience in Procurement.

  • High-level of proficiency in Excel-Pivot Tables, Formatting, Data Cleansing, Functions and Formulas.

  • High-level of proficiency in MS Office (e.g., MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and excellent analytical skills.

  • Customer focused with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Team player that is self-motivated and interacts appropriately with peers.

  • Displays a sense of urgency to resolve issues for internal team and customers.

Preferred

  • Degree or Certification in Business Administration, Management or relevant degree.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working in life sciences, medical device or pharma.

Internal Partners: Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Legal, Finance

External Partners: Suppliers, Consultants

Work Environment:

  • Remote Position. Required Travel: Extremely Limited

Physical Demands:

40% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 60% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical work. Extremely limited travel may be required. Travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel.

Salary Transparency:

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $99,000. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
