DP World, the global logistics leader that currently handles more than 10% of world trade, is seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Coordinator to join our growing Shared Service Center in Bucharest, Romania.

In this role, you will provide essential support for DP World's legal entities across the EU region by managing order creation, supplier setup, contracts and by processing various requests efficiently and accurately.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Processing and preparing procurement document signing requests using company applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance with internal policies, and timely communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting new supplier onboarding and the maintenance of procurement documentation, keeping all information precise and up to date in company systems.
  • Managing data related to signed documents, generating reports, and monitoring data accuracy to support effective decision-making.
  • Collaborating closely with the Procurement and Legal Departments to resolve any discrepancies between existing procedures and incoming requests.
  • Allocating document signatories correctly based on authorizations provided by the Legal Department.
  • Contributing to projects that improve procurement document management and signing processes, and communicating any changes or updates to relevant internal parties.
  • Maintaining accurate records of procurement contracts and documents in line with company retention policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitoring contract databases for key dates such as renewals and expirations, ensuring compliance with contractual clauses.
  • Addressing and escalating operational issues promptly, preparing required reports and analyses according to company procedures.
  • Supporting new team members through knowledge sharing and fostering a collaborative working environment within the Shared Service Center.
     

Your profile:
 

  • Higher Education studies in Accounting/Economic Relations/Legal Studies or a similar field.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous work experience in Procurement, ideally within a Shared Service Center/BPO environment. International contract management experience would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the acquisitions and accounting processes.
  • Excellent ability to operate procurement software products (SAP/Oracle) and the Microsoft Office package. 
  • Advanced English level. Fluency in any other European language would be an advantage.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to think ahead, ensuring smooth collaboration with suppliers and multicultural teams while driving timely delivery.
  • A solid understanding of the organizational structure and climate, adapting communication and collaboration style accordingly to work effectively across different teams and levels.
