Senior Procurement Analyst – India
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Procurement Analyst with strong commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities. This role supports end-to-end procurement activities across technology and business categories while partnering with internal stakeholders, finance teams, legal teams, and suppliers. The successful candidate will help deliver sourcing excellence, commercial value, supplier performance, risk management, and process improvements in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) activities, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, contract review, purchase requisition support, and supplier onboarding.
- Partner with business, IT, finance, legal, and operational stakeholders to understand requirements and execute procurement strategies that deliver value and mitigate risk.
- Lead competitive sourcing events, RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract discussions to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
- Monitor supplier performance, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop procurement analytics, dashboards, spend analyses, savings tracking
- Support procurement governance, records management, audit readiness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and manage procurement, contractual, operational, and supplier-related risks.
- Drive process standardization, automation opportunities, and best-practice procurement methods.
- Collaborate effectively with global stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline. MBA, PGDM, or equivalent postgraduate qualification is desirable.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant procurement experience within a technology, IT services, software, product, or multinational corporate environment.
- Proven experience independently managing sourcing projects, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Experience procuring SaaS, cloud services, software licenses, IT hardware, infrastructure, data center technologies, telecom, or related technology categories.
- Experience working within a global procurement environment and supporting international stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, including engagement with senior leadership and executives.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to build business cases, total cost of ownership analyses, and savings models.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and commercial acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within demanding timelines.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
