JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Interview process owners / Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to gather business process details.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to conduct current state process assessments.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings and Agile development methodology and process.
  • Analyze and document business processes at a keystroke level (L4).
  • Propose process improvements to process owners and Subject Matter experts, prior to designing automation solution, in accordance with Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Design end-to-end process in accordance with standard design principles and conventions for Developers in preparation for automation.
  • Learn capabilities and limitations of robotics software tool.
  • Analyze and observe processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete Automation.
  • Proactively, identify processes that are suitable for automation, and provide recommendations to reengineer processes to improve automation potential.
  • Prepare detailed process documentation including: SIPOC, Initial Process Analysis (IPA), Process Design Document (PDD), Solution Design Document (SDD), etc.
  • Understand and communicate why particular approach would be best fit for requirements and deliver clean configuration and testing.
  • Work with process owners and developers to ensure understanding of documents and obtain appropriate sign-off prior to development.
  • Support and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management.
  • Take responsibility for project activities including work estimation, planning, stakeholder management and project quality.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of appropriate project technical documentation including design, configuration, installation, ensuring quality criteria are met during all phases.
  • Participate in the prioritization of automation projects, enhancements requests and ad-hoc requests.
  • Proactively identify risks and dependencies within Automation process and delivery and effectively manage these cross functionally.
  • Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Provides other duties as directed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or other related field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience with Requirements Gathering, Documentation and Process Analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) development expertise with UiPath.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Desired intermediate Python and basic Visio level.
