This role will be responsible for independently manage critical Accounts Payable activities, ensure timely issue resolution, and support business stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
Perform end-to-end MRBR monitoring and resolution by analyzing blocked invoices, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely release of invoices for payment.
Manage GR/IR reconciliation, identify aged and unmatched items, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with business teams for timely closure.
Execute and support the Accrual Process, ensuring accurate identification, validation, posting support, and adherence to month-end closing timelines.
Handle client escalations independently by performing detailed analysis, providing timely updates, driving resolution, and maintaining effective stakeholder communication.
Monitor and manage the Approval Queue Aging Report, follow up with approvers, highlight aging items, and ensure invoices are approved within SLA.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce aging.
Prepare operational reports, perform trend analysis, and share actionable insights with the leadership team.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Support month-end activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
What will you need to be Successful?
Education: Graduate or Post Graduate Degree - B.Com / M.Com.
Minimum 3-5 Years of AP full cycle AP Payment processing, On Time payment, DPO, basic accounting principles.
Experience with working in a global shared service centre.
Strong attention to detail focusing on quality and accuracy.
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Able to work month end schedules and different shifts.
SAP (ECC6), Microsoft Axapta (2009, 2012), Ariba experience preferred.
Great teammate with ability to build relationships and influence team members and wider partners with validated problem solvent skills.
Excellent English communications skills written and verbal.
