About the role

Senior Principal Product Designer – Enhance Gen's flagship products for our partners. This role is based in Prague or Brno and is hybrid, coming to the office 2-3 days per week.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Principal Product Designer to join our team. As an integral part of our compact design unit, you will be pivotal in shaping our flagship products so they would work for our key partners. Your role involves leveraging your creativity and problem-solving skills to craft intuitive and effective design solutions within the intricate realm of cybersecurity software. If you excel in a team-oriented environment, demonstrate outstanding communication and analytical abilities, and have a proven background in software product design, we encourage you to apply.
 

What you will do in the role:

  • Conduct thorough analysis and research, to understand partner needs, their brand guidelines, and product requirements.

  • Responsible for user experience related to EB onboarding, retail activation flows, white-labelling and co-branding

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, marketers, and stakeholders, to define problems and design solutions.

  • Create, iterate, and refine product design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups.

  • Develop user-centered designs that align with brand guidelines and best practices in user experience.

  • Gather feedback to inform design decisions and enhance the user experience.

  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of design solutions.

  • Maintain and update design documentation, including style guides and design specifications.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to drive continuous improvement.

  • Participate actively in design critiques, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional meetings.

  • Provide valuable input and contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions.

What you need to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as interaction design, human-computer interaction, user experience design, or a related discipline.

  • 9+ years of experience in software product design, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.

  • Proficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, Mural, or similar.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.

  • Knowledge of design trends, usability principles, and accessibility standards.

  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • A comprehensive portfolio that effectively demonstrates your design process, highlighting your previous design work on complex end-to-end projects.

  • Fluency in English, both in written and spoken communication.
