Position Details

Position Overview:

As a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our sales process, serving as a technical expert and advisor to both our sales teams and potential clients. Your expertise in software solutions and the consulting landscape will enable us to understand our client's needs effectively and propose customized solutions that drive value and success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managed and executed inbound and outbound sales calls to contribute to the company's sales targets.
  2. Collaborate with Marketing Consultants to develop and execute social media and drip marketing campaigns.
  3. Conduct demonstrations of iManage and MacroAgility Software to showcase product capabilities and benefits.
  4. Work closely with the sales team to comprehend client needs and offer specialized technical support throughout the sales cycle.
  5. Perform comprehensive needs analyses with prospective clients to pinpoint their challenges and demonstrate how our solutions can achieve their goals.
  6. Craft and present quotes, proposals, and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  7. Maintain open and friendly communication with clients and partners, supporting the Sales team in client interactions.
  8. Execute detailed technical assessments with prospective clients to understand their requirements fully.
  9. Serve as the critical link between the sales and engineering teams, ensuring customer needs are precisely converted into technical specifications.
  10. Represent the company at conferences, shows, and exhibitions to network with potential clients and promote our solutions actively.
  11. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and technological innovations to refine our sales strategies and offerings continually.
  12. Assist with the technical setup and configuration on platforms such as Azure AD, Okta, etc.
  13. Communicate any changes in deadlines and proposals efficiently during project timelines.
  14. Engage in the Customer Journey process following the successful completion of projects, ensuring a seamless and supportive customer experience.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role within the software or technology consulting industry.
  3. Strong technical background with a comprehensive understanding of software development processes, architectures, and cloud technologies.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful solution selling.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently in a remote setting.
  7. Willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.
