Our Newcastle Office is currently recruiting for a Senior Power Platform Developer. The Team
The Applied Technology team design and build technology solutions to NRF’s clients and is a key component of NRF Transform. With our team of developers, business analysts and consultants we work closely with clients and colleagues, such as Legal Operations Consulting, to address some really challenging legal and business problems.
The Role
We are looking for a friendly, approachable and experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our team and deliver tailored solutions to our clients. Our development team works in both product development and consulting roles depending on the nature of the project and our client’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our team of consultants, business analysts, developers and product managers to help solve client problems using appropriate technology solutions
- Design and build Power Platform and SharePoint solutions, leveraging Azure services such as Entra for user access and Defender to manage security posture
- Creating intuitive user interfaces to enhance user experiences
- Identifying and resolving application issues to ensure peak performance and functionality
- Leverage your experience and skills to competently manage technical client projects
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and team members on complex technical topics and issues
- Work in accordance with established technical best practice principles to ensure we offer high quality products and solutions to our clients
- Build upon existing processes and protocols through continuous process improvement and sharing lessons learnt
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of common and emerging technology relevant to our clients and the legal industry – demonstrating your knowledge with relevant certifications
- Participate in team and department initiatives to share your knowledge and build effective working relationships, guiding and supporting your colleagues technical learning
Skills and Experience Required
- A proven track record of leading the end-to-end development of modern, cloud-based software applications
- Extensive experience with the Microsoft cloud technologies including Power Platform and Azure services, especially Power Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate
- Ideally Microsoft-certified in Power Platform and/or Azure to an Expert level, or the equivalent demonstrated experience
- Experience with Azure cloud security and data protection strategies
- Experience in front-end web development tools and languages - JavaScript, Liquid, HTML/CSS
- Experience with integration development, APIs and web services
- Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering, solution design, DevOps pipelines and Agile working practices
- Ability to design, build, think and communicate in a systematic manner
- Excellent analytical, problem identification and issue resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven and demonstrable dedication to quality of work and client focus
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively towards deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects with consistently high-quality results
- Able to demonstrate good judgment in sensitive or stressful situations
