Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Power Engineer to enhance our team's capabilities in designing high density high efficiency power supplies for high-performance computing (HPC). This role calls for a proactive and technically skilled engineer beyond traditional power management topics due to the highly integrated nature of the products. The successful candidate will actively participate in the full lifecycle of product development, from conceptual design through implementation and testing.
This is a hybrid role with time on-site in Torrance, CA.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power electronics or a related field.
- Power architecture on high efficiency high density DCDC converter topologies. Strong knowledge of power semiconductor devices characterization/loss calculation, gate-driver design
- Printed circuit board design, schematic capture and PCB layout experience
- Extensive experience in testing/debugging circuits.
- Experience with magnetic design
- A strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication abilities with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and collaboration with cross-functional teams and possibly external partners or vendors to enhance product capabilities and performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced control algorithms, power supply compensator design, microcontroller, control firmware.
- Mixed-signal Integrated Circuit/System knowledge in different process nodes. Experience with digitally enabled power management products.
- Contributions to product innovation and improvements, with a willingness to explore new technological avenues and solutions.
- Some leadership experience, either leading small teams or projects, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks and mentor less experienced engineers.

Salary Range: $175,000- $200,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
