The Senior Power BI Developer will work very closely with the US based data team to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves transforming user requests/stories into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
  • Build and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Create complex DAX calculations and measures for advanced analytics.
• Data Integration:
  • Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL, Azure, Excel, APIs).
  • Implement ETL processes using Power Query and related tools.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Partner with data engineers and analysts for data preparation.
• Performance & Security:
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in BI solutions.
• Innovation & Support:
  • Stay updated on Power BI features and BI trends.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a resident of the Philippines
• Able to work onsite in Makati, Metro Manila
• Able to work following US time (night shift in the Philippines)
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in Accounting/Accounts Payable functions
• Has proven experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• Knowledge and/or experience using Salesforce, Accounting Seed, or Quickbooks is a plus
• Has overall comfortability with navigating through multiple windows, screens and/or programs simultaneously
• Has the ability to handle confidential and business sensitive data (pricing information), work independently or collaboratively as a member of a team
• Able to diagnose and resolve accounting problems, and analyze information in order to draw conclusions
• Must possess a strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills which includes the ability to effectively communicate with employees, vendors, and customers
• Can remain flexible and adapt to changing environments, and identify and solve vendor issues and/or problems, while maintaining high energy and a positive attitude regularly

• Experience:
  • 3+ years in BI development, with at least 2 years in Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, DAX, and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Power BI certification is preferred.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or similar tools, is preferred.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics, is preferred.
