As a Senior Power BI Report Developer, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making processes. Your expertise will be needed in transforming complex data sets into insightful, actionable business intelligence.Your responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards to present data in a clear and concise manner.
- Evaluate and determine the appropriate environment for data storage and processing based on the requirements with sufficient attention for economical and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with team leads and data officers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
- Conduct data modeling and data analysis to ensure accurate data representation and visualization.
- Optimize Power BI reports for performance and user experience, ensuring responsiveness and quick data retrieval.
- Challenge & Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information within the reports.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and trends to recommend enhancements and improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the data connections, gateways, the power of service, report performance, and data accuracy.
- Should be maintain & troubleshoot the power bi back-end service (connections, gateways, the power bi service, tenant and workspace security, performance, etc. ...)
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Report Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and data visualization best practices.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data analysis, and data transformation techniques, software and frameworks.
- Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating calculated columns and measures
- Familiarity with SQL and database querying.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
