The Senior Test Engineer is part of one or more scrum teams and works on daily basis to support our change delivery process. Senior Test Engineer delivers ensures that the features and functionalities delivered on NI – Ngenius payment platform are defect free and conform to the specifications and the goals of stakeholders. Work continuously on enhancing the automation areas related to POS testing..
Responsibilities- Define and establish testing process for E2E and Integration testing for POS.
- Able to estimate testing efforts based on the DOU/Requirement document.
- Define test environment requirements and individual test plans for each POS project/integration.
- Able to execute user acceptance testing, Regression testing and integration testing.
- Identify and work on improving the POS testing areas
- Provide daily execution status on testing progress
- Maintain test logs and evidence of testing
- Collaborate with developers and support staff to create better understanding of defects and other quality issues.
- Working closely with business analysts to understand the specification to build the test cases.
- Coach and guide junior test engineers.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferably in IT or related discipline
Experience:
- 6 years of experience in functional and non-functional testing of systems
- 3 years of experience in POS testing, Integration and payment gateway involving multiple technology stacks
- Experience in working with large teams following Scrum practices
Knowledge/Skills:
- Expertise in Cards & Payment industry
- Expertise in Scheme certification, Android API security testing and Performance Testing related to POS testing.
- Ability to architect and develop automated testing solutions.
- Knowledge in Automation Test Tools such as Python, Selenium, Sql, Plsql, Web service API, TCL, REST API
- Familiar with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
- Strong knowledge with one or more test management and test documentation tools such as Zephyr
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple migration iterations
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline

- 3 years of POS testing, integration and payment gateway experience
- Experience working with large teams using Scrum practices
- Expertise in cards and payments industry
- Expertise in scheme certification, Android API security testing, and performance testing for POS

- Knowledge of automation/test tools: Python, Selenium, SQL, PL/SQL, TCL, REST API, web services
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
- Strong knowledge of test management/documentation tools such as Zephyr
