A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Portfolio Manager reporting to Executive Manager, Field Portfolio Governance & Delivery.
A bit about your role
The Senior Portfolio Manager plays a key role in shaping and governing the strategic roadmap for Field Services, working closely with senior stakeholders to prioritise initiatives, oversee delivery against timelines and benefits, and ensure clear alignment to strategy. The role partners with delivery and commercial teams to provide clarity on outcomes, track performance, manage risks, and support informed decision-making through data insights, business case evaluation, and clear reporting. It also contributes to strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and preparation of executive-level communications, ensuring successful delivery of portfolio outcomes against agreed business measures.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in portfolio, program, and project delivery, supported by recognised project management methodologies across both Agile and traditional approaches. You are confident in solving complex business problems, shaping priorities, and working across governance environments, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment. The role requires a solid understanding of telecommunications and field services, combined with commercial awareness and the ability to assess risks, opportunities, and business value through data and insights.
You are skilled in end-to-end planning, business case development, and overseeing large-scale transformation initiatives, while fostering collaboration and clear communication across teams. A proactive and adaptable approach, strong organisation skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders, lead workshops, and present clear recommendations support successful delivery of outcomes aligned to business objectives.
