Job Description:
An opportunity for a Senior PLM Business Analyst has arisen within Airbus Operations SL, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the Digital & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Team, playing a pivotal role in optimizing our Technical Data Management (TDM) solutions. This position is central to the digital transformation of our aircraft programs, specifically focusing on A320 and A330 platform.
As a key interface between business stakeholders and Digital teams, you will act as the bridge that translates complex aerospace engineering needs into high-impact PLM solutions. Our mission is to drive efficiency, ensure data integrity, and foster innovation in aircraft design through state-of-the-art digital tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Stakeholder Engagement: Orchestrate workshops and collaboration sessions with diverse business units to gather, analyze, and document detailed functional and non-functional PLM requirements.
Engineering Technical Specifications: Translate complex business needs into actionable user stories, use cases, and technical specifications for system enhancements and new implementations.
Drive Solution Lifecycle: Collaborate closely with IT Architects and Development teams from conceptual design through to deployment, ensuring solutions align with the overarching digital strategy.
Process Optimization: Perform in-depth analysis of existing PLM processes (TDM, PDM, BOM Management) to identify bottlenecks and propose innovative improvements in workflow efficiency.
Quality Assurance & Strategic Advice: Develop comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality and act as a Subject Matter Expert on industry trends and emerging PLM technologies.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical/business discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years as a Business Analyst, with a heavy focus on PLM systems (e.g., Dassault Systèmes, Siemens Teamcenter, or PTC Windchill) in large-scale enterprise environments.
Soft skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical developers and senior business stakeholders in an international environment.
Languages: Proficiency in English (Advanced/C1). Spanish language skills are a significant advantage.
Technical knowledge: Expertise in requirement gathering (BPMN, User Stories), data modeling, and deep understanding of product development processes (Change & Configuration Management).
Valuable / Nice to have: Proven track record in the Aerospace or Automotive industry and familiarity with both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
