Tabby launched in 2019 and has since raised +$1 billion in equity and debt funding from global and regional investors, and is now valued at $3.3 billion.
About the role
Platform Product Manager combines classic product management skills with a deep understanding of technical architecture. This role actively participates in solving engineering and business problems on a daily basis.

Tabby Scoring System is our in-house risk decisioning platform, the heart of scoring at Tabby: low-code tools to manage decisioning policies (Risk policies, KYC, KYB, etc.) and a decision engine to process them, powering real-time decisioning at scale, millions of decisions across UAE, KSA, KWT. The goal of the platform is independent, safe and fast self-service delivery of business changes, from policy design to production release, with no dependency on the platform team's capacity.
You will own the platform end-to-end: vision, strategy, OKRs, roadmap. This is not a product owner or delivery role, and not a manager who relays business requests to the team. Demand permanently exceeds capacity, stakeholders are senior and assertive - the job is to set the direction and prioritize by business impact, including a well-argued "no" based on facts.

What you’ll be doing
  • Own the vision and roadmap for the policy development and testing tools, execution engine, data sources connector and content management interfaces
  • Run customer development with internal users (risk analysts, risk engineers, domain product teams) yourself - from interviews to validated problem statements
  • Do the full analysis cycle hands-on: requirements and business analysis, problem decomposition, solution options with trade-offs - leveraging the team and LLM tools where they help, including digging into the codebase
  • Drive the self-service target state and be responsible for the platform's key metrics: lead time for content delivery, self-service coverage, SLA, user CSAT, etc.
  • Prioritize one backlog across Risk B2C, Risk B2B, product streams - by quantified impact
  • Work daily with engineering on architecture trade-offs
  • Prototype hands-on, including with LLMs - validate ideas before consuming engineering time; design and automate internal processes
  • Own platform OKRs and answer for them at C-level

What you’ll need
  • Background
    • MUST: 4+ years as Platform/Technical PM for internal platforms: decision engines, risk/credit decisioning platforms, BRMS, rule engines, Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), antifraud or scoring platforms
    • MUST: knowledge in Scoring / Risk / Antifraud domains in Fintech/Banking
    • You have owned a product vision yourself - set direction, defended it, shipped it. Executing stakeholder-defined roadmaps is not a fit
    • You do discovery and analysis yourself, not through delegation: customer development, requirements, business analysis, high level solution design
    • Nice to have: prior experience as an Enterprise Architect, Development Team Lead, or Engineering Manager, always combined with experience in Product Management
  • Product Skills
    • Strong skills in problem identification and hard prioritization under demand > capacity, with real examples of killed initiatives and the reasoning behind them
    • Metrics trees for internal platforms with indirect value chains
  • Technical Skills
    • Can navigate a codebase (with LLM assistance is fine) to understand how the product actually works
    • Hands-on LLM experience: workflow automation, prototyping with LLM APIs or agent tools. "Used ChatGPT for emails" doesn't qualify
    • Ability to assess whether a proposed technical solution meets requirements
    • Experience evaluating technical quality of a product and its delivery processes, including technical monitoring and reliability practices
  • Communication
    • Strong English (B2+); can defend decisions and trade-offs at C-level, can defend decisions and trade-offs at C-level across culturally diverse, globally distributed teams
    • Strong team leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
