We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with the following requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate on-premises Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kustomize.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and ArgoCD for consistent deployment practices.
- Implement and maintain observability stack using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Thanos.
- Administer and optimize Ceph, EFS, and persistent storage configurations (PV/PVC).
- Manage networking and ingress with service mesh integrations for multi-service environments.
- Implement RBAC, namespace management, and cost optimization strategies.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and enhance system resilience.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps peers to improve infrastructure reliability and developer experience.
- Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, automation, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Kubernetes in on-premises environments (cluster lifecycle, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting).
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kustomize for infrastructure automation.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and ArgoCD.
- Solid knowledge of monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Thanos).
- Strong background in Linux administration, networking, and containerization (Docker).
- Experience with Ceph, EFS, and Kubernetes storage provisioning.
- Deep understanding of networking and security, including:
- Ingress controllers, service mesh, and network policies.
- IPsec VPN tunnels setup, troubleshooting, and integration between hybrid environments.
- Web Application Firewall (WAF) configuration and rule optimization to protect workloads.
- Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting for automation and system maintenance.
- Working knowledge of AWS Cloud services integrated with hybrid infrastructure setups.
