We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for our Platform team, which aims to provide a service platform on top of which all product team services run.
This is a hybrid role working from our New York office 2-3 days per week. You will report to the Platform Engineering Team Manager.
You'll Get To…
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled platform engineers to maintain and expand Acuity Scheduling's services platform.
- Design and build the next-generation service platform using industry-leading practices and emerging technologies to support Acuity Scheduling's growth.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to architect and enhance compute platform capabilities, enabling efficient application development and iteration to support business needs.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Take part in an on-call rotation to uphold platform health and operational excellence.
Who We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or SRE roles, working with programming languages such as Python, Golang
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, especially in public cloud environments like EKS, GKS, or AKS and administering Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Argo, Drone, or similar.
- Knowledge of platform observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
- An analytical mindset and a passion for solving complex business challenges with technology.

Cash Compensation Range: $128,500 - $207,000 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to receive an incentive award as part of their total compensation.
