Summary:

In this role, you will be in direct communication with key Vizient business SMEs to implement, configure and support a new Contract Management System with Contracts AI. You will have a variety of responsibilities including gathering business requirements, configuring the platform for templates and workflows, ensuring data integrity, maintaining security controls and supporting the end-users as they generate queries, reports and train the Contracts AI capabilities. The Contracts AI portion of this role will provide an exciting opportunity to learn about AI and be instrumental in building our capabilities across the enterprise. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop user stories, product backlog(s) and product solutions with minimal guidance by applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for one or two primary products.

  • Own the lifecycle and share expertise in one or two interrelated product areas.

  • Leads analysis of requirements and impact to applications and / or business processes and across other applications.

  • Propose alternate solutions to business problems on an assigned platform.

  • Gather, analyzes, and documents user requirements and translates them into user stories.

  • Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and / or understand current business processes.

  • Develop and maintain product backlogs and coordinate with others on dependent stories.

  • Implement requirements traceability from user stories to product features.

  • Actively participate in discovery workshops to aid in requirements discussion.

  • Participate in discussions during Agile ceremonies for iteration planning and user story refinement.

  • Lead the user story refinement ceremony and drives requirement clarification discussion during testing.

  • Field questions from stakeholders / end users during user acceptance testing and perform triage; identifies potential options to aid in the resolution process.

  • Identify and recommend solutions for continuous improvements to Agile processes.

  • Conduct gap analysis to identify solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs meet customer requirements and standards.

  • Write basic SQL queries (e.g., select statements) and partner with others to review application data and to identify and triage discrepancies.

  • Use platform interfaces to configure reporting and other tasks (e.g., adding filter, or grouping).

  • Identify and suggest opportunities to improve user experience for one or two primary products.

  • Design complete business solutions in the platform comprising of data, process, and integration across systems.

  • Work with teams of other platform analysts and / or broader teams to map business flow to platform objects, screens, and process flows.

  • Meet training requirements, follow established procedures, and propose new procedures.

  • Ensure tracking of group progress or departmental issues.

  • Provide reasonable estimates for work products.

  • Utilize and evaluate metrics to identify and implement improvements to standards and procedures.

  • Document and create training materials for product solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 5 of more relevant years of experience is required. Expertise in product business domain (e.g., finance, accounting, human resources) is preferred.

  • Experience managing a large program, and a deep understanding of process improvements and efficiencies.

  • Ability to partner with the business to creative solve their needs.

  • Ability to understand complex business problems and identify and interpret business needs.

  • Advanced knowledge of agile development methodologies.

  • Demonstrated facilitation and influencing skills to drive decision making among stakeholders with diverse perspectives and priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customers.

  • Ability to surface, prioritize, and balance multiple stakeholder priorities.

  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $168,800.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
