The Senior Planning Engineer at Nawy Real Estate plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the planning and scheduling of construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Lead the planning team in identifying project scopes, tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Analyze project schedules for optimization, implement changes as necessary, and ensure adherence to project deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all planning activities align with project objectives.
- Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key issues, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential delays and challenges.
- Facilitate project meetings to discuss schedule-related issues and maintain open lines of communication across teams.
- Mentor and support junior planning engineers in their professional development and project planning techniques.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures in all planning activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in planning engineering within the construction or real estate sectors.
- Proficient in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and advanced Excel skills.
