As part of the Solution Area Cognitive Networks Solutions Software R&D team, you will work alongside experienced cloud and DevOps engineers, gaining hands-on exposure to Cloud Computing, Automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, AI-driven technologies, and 5G solutions.
This graduate opportunity is designed for recent university graduates who are passionate about cloud technologies, software engineering, automation, and continuous learning. You will participate in building and supporting cloud-based platforms, deployment pipelines, and automation solutions used by global development teams.
What you will do:
- Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Assist in cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools.
- Work with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications.
- Contribute to automation efforts that improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency.
- Participate in cloud monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
- Support implementation of security best practices within cloud and software delivery environments.
- Collaborate with software developers, testers, and cloud engineers in an agile, cross-functional team.
- Learn and apply DevOps, DevSecOps, GitOps, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Assist in developing scripts and automation solutions using programming and scripting languages.
- Participate in testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives across cloud platforms and services.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Recent graduate (Class of 2024, 2025, or 2026) or expected to graduate within the next few months.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals and version control systems such as Git.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices.
- Basic knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Exposure to scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, Java, or Go.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous internship, graduation project, open-source contributions, cloud certifications, or personal technical projects will be considered an advantage.
