Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable PHP applications for our automotive services
- Engage with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create innovative solutions
- Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards
- Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth
- Review code to ensure optimal quality, performance, and security
- Identify and resolve software defects and performance challenges
- Stay updated on emerging industry trends and technologies, and share insights with the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior PHP Developer, focused on backend development
- Strong expertise in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Solid understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical support
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus
