Accounts Payable Assistant
Skillsoft is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Egypt. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the processing of purchase invoices for UK, NL, BE and DK. Working remotely with a team based in Egypt and Europe.
Position Responsibilities
· Monitor the Accounts Payable mailboxes
· Review invoices, resolve invoice discrepancies, and enter invoices into Coupa/Navision
· Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and post invoices to Accounting system
· Ensure all invoices are processed with the correct VAT treatment
· Maintain and update vendor records and liaise with suppliers to resolve queries about payment status
· Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable transactions, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
· Maintain confidentiality of information
· Collaborate with the finance team and provide administrative support for the accounts payable function
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other tasks upon request
· Liaise with the wider business to resolve and Purchase order issues to ensure timely processing and payment of supplier invoices
· Communicate with vendors regarding payments and invoice queries
· Processing of Employee expense claims
· Readily available to support internal and external audits
· Ability to effectively and efficiently operate in a dynamic and fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Required Skills and Experience
· 0 -1 years of professional experience in an accounts payable or similar financial role
· Strong organizational skills, in accounting software and proficient in Excel
· Excellent organizational and time management skills are needed to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts effectively
· Good communication skills are necessary for liaising with vendors and internal departments
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy are crucial for data entry and financial reconciliation
Preferred Skills & Experience
· Navision /Coupa experience preferred but not essential
