We're looking for a Sr. People Operations Specialist to help make every stage of the Maker journey — from Day 1 through offboarding — feel thoughtful, smooth, and well-supported. You'll sit within the People team in Tel Aviv, owning the full local employee lifecycle while contributing to global automation and process projects that scale across Lemonade's offices worldwide.

We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.

Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.

In this role you'll
  • Run end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, setting a clear, high-quality standard from the first day to the exit survey

  • Translate policies into clear workflows and actions, serving as the go-to for Maker questions on leave, benefits, and day-to-day People topics

  • Support People Ops initiatives and projects, from program coordination and vendor research to handling sensitive employee conversations with care

  • Keep Workday accurate and current — employee records, org charts, status changes — so the team always has a reliable source of truth

  • Identify manual, repetitive work across the Maker lifecycle and automate it, using AI tools and the systems at hand to build lasting solutions.

  • Build and maintain self-serve documentation so Makers can find answers before they need to ask

  • Support TLV perks, benefits, and office operations, including vendor coordination, events, and front desk coverage roughly once a week

  • Connect with global People Ops counterparts in NYC and Amsterdam to align standards, share local solutions, and help a distributed team feel like one

What you'll need
  • 5+ years in People Ops, People coordination, or office operations at a fast-moving tech company, with a track record of operational excellence

  • Genuine emotional intelligence — you communicate with clarity and empathy, and you navigate sensitive situations with care and good judgment

  • Hands-on HRIS experience; Workday is a real advantage

  • Working knowledge of Israeli labor law, with the confidence to apply it day-to-day and the judgment to know when to loop in legal

  • Comfort with ticketing and workflow tools like Unthread, Fibery, or similar

  • A natural process instinct — you spot friction before it becomes a complaint, and you move to fix it

  • High attention to detail, especially when handling confidential information

  • Natural hospitality — whether you're welcoming new employees, supporting vendors, or greeting visitors, you make people feel genuinely cared for

  • Working knowledge of AI tools, or a clear appetite to develop it fast

  • Ready to work in an office environment most days of the week
