About the Role:
The Senior People Operations Coordinator will serve as the dedicated People Operations presence for Kong’s China employee population, providing critical HR support in Mandarin Chinese. This role is responsible for managing employment documentation, coordinating contract execution, and ensuring our China-based employees receive timely, accurate, and culturally appropriate HR support.
As Kong continues to grow its presence in China, this position plays an essential role in bridging global People Operations processes with local requirements — keeping documentation compliant, employees informed, and operations running smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
Chinese-Language Documentation: Draft, translate, and review employee-facing HR documents in Mandarin Chinese, including employment contracts, offer letters, addenda, and policy communications, ensuring legal accuracy and alignment with global templates.
Signature Coordination & Execution: Manage the end-to-end signature collection process for employment agreements and HR documents, coordinating with local stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant execution.
Contract Renewal Support: Track and coordinate contract renewal timelines for China-based employees, partnering with HRBPs and Legal to ensure continuity and surface risks ahead of expiration.
Employee Lifecycle Support: Support onboarding to offboarding processes for China-based employees, ensuring a consistent and well-coordinated experience at every stage of the employee journey.
Workday Data Entry & Maintenance: Enter and maintain accurate employee data in Workday across the full employee lifecycle, including new hires, changes, and terminations, ensuring data integrity and timely processing.
Local People Operations Support: Act as the primary Mandarin-language resource for day-to-day HR activities, including employee inquiries, onboarding support, and policy communications for the China employee population.
Talent Acquisition Coordination (as needed): Support interview scheduling and candidate communications in Mandarin, improving responsiveness and candidate experience for China-based hiring.
What you'll bring:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years in HR, People Operations, or a related function.
Language: Native or near-native Mandarin Chinese and English proficiency—both written and spoken are required for this role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in BestSign (required); familiarity with HRIS platforms and Google Workspace. Experience with Workday is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Personal Attributes: High attention to detail, discretion with sensitive employee information, and a genuine commitment to delivering a great employee experience.
