Job DescriptionPerforms Engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments Responsibilities are within the Engineering Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
Key Responsibilities:
Acoustic engineer supports audio system design, conducts audio performance evaluation and tuning of vehicle audio systems to achieve Bose premium sound. He or she will be capable of helping us to move toward more efficient and automated tuning.
Support audio system design at concept stage
Conduct audio system performance evaluation at concept stage. Complete concept car audio tuning and get both internal and customer agreement.
Support speaker layout/package activities during development
Measure and analyze acoustical and electrical system performance
Conduct audio tuning of prototype vehicles at customer site and get agreement of both internal to Bose and customer.
Documentation/reporting to internal and customer
Conduct audits of production vehicles to make sure the acoustic performance are reproduced as intended.
Conduct component level acoustic evaluation as needed.
Submit required documents in related to activities above both internal and to customer.
Attend design review to confirm audio performance as needed.
Support our technology event – mainly conduct technical demonstration
In vehicle and bench testing of amplifier function verification

Qualification, Education and Experiences:
Bachelor’s or master degree of electrical engineering, acoustic engineering or physics required.
Experience or knowledge in the acoustic design, analysis and measurement required.
Experience in DSP application required.
Experience in automotive engineering preferred.
Experience in software design, development preferred.
