We are looking for an experienced Senior People Business Partner to partner with Global Domain and Senior Technology leaders across the Technology & Delivery function to support the delivery of people strategies that enable business performance, organisational effectiveness and talent growth.
Working closely with the Chief People Officer, regional People Partners and People Centres of Excellence, this role helps leaders build engaged, high-performing teams and supports the successful delivery of organisational and people initiatives across a global Technology & Delivery population.
The role combines strategic people partnering with practical delivery and is ideal for an experienced Business Partner looking to take the next step into a broader Senior Partnering role.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership
- Partner with Global Domain Leads and Technology senior managers to understand business priorities and people challenges.
- Provide practical guidance and support on organisational, talent and workforce matters.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and become a trusted partner on day-to-day people topics.
- Support leaders in delivering business change and improving team effectiveness.
- Apply commercial understanding to ensure people initiatives support business objectives.
- Coach and support leaders to strengthen people management capability.
Organisation & Workforce Planning
- Support organisational design and workforce planning activities.
- Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and future workforce requirements.
- Assist with organisational change initiatives and restructuring activity where required.
- Support leaders in implementing changes that improve effectiveness, collaboration and performance.
Talent & Leadership Development
- Support talent review and succession planning processes across assigned populations.
- Partner with leaders to identify high-potential talent and development opportunities.
- Support the delivery of leadership development, career development and talent initiatives.
- Promote high-performance standards and effective performance management practices.
Employee Engagement & People Insights
- Use employee feedback, engagement data and workforce metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support leaders in creating engaging and inclusive team environments.
- Monitor trends relating to attrition, engagement and workforce health.
- Provide data and insights to support people and organisational decisions.
Employee Relations & Risk Management
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on people policies and employment-related matters.
- Partner with regional People Partners to ensure consistent and compliant people practices.
- Support leaders in navigating sensitive employee situations with professionalism and sound judgement.
- Identify and escalate people risks where appropriate.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with regional People Partners, People Operations and Centres of Excellence to deliver people initiatives effectively.
- Support the implementation of global people programmes across Technology & Delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of people processes and practices.
- Participate in cross-functional projects that support FNZ's people agenda.
Experience Required
Essential
- 6-8 years' experience in People Partnering or Business Partnering roles.
- Strong grounding in core HR processes and employment practices, with the ability to provide practical guidance and partner effectively with Centres of Excellence and People Operations teams. While this role is focused on business partnering, a solid understanding of the wider HR lifecycle is expected.
- Experience working with leaders in a fast-paced and changing business environment.
- Experience supporting organisational change, talent, engagement and workforce initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility with managers and senior leaders.
- Experience working within complex, matrixed or multinational organisations.
- Strong employee relations and people risk management experience.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and balance multiple competing priorities.

- Experience supporting Technology, Engineering, Product, Delivery or Professional Services populations.
