We are now looking for a Senior PCB Fab Supplier and Quality Engineer to join our dynamic and diverse team. As a regional leader, you will implement and enforce NVIDIA's quality and reliability standards for our Printed Circuit Boards and ensure supplier performance to these standards throughout the Product Life Cycle. You will be responsible for technical operational readiness and ensure suppliers meet all quality and business KPI’s.
We design and produce advanced technology PCB's used in consumer, auto and enterprise solutions. Your technical and industry expertise will contribute to our ongoing success. Reporting to PCB fab Operations Senior Management, you will be based in Taiwan to manage NVIDIA's local and regional PCB fab supply base.
What you’ll be doing:
Administer quality programs and process controls for early detection of issues and produce product of the highest level.
Analyze process data required to manage product quality and collaborate with suppliers on a regular basis. You will share dppm and RMA feedback to drive failure analysis, root cause corrective action and process improvement.
Partnering with NVIDIA technical teams you will assess and qualify new PCB suppliers and contribute to the development of the PCB technical and supplier strategy.
Handle supplier relationships, track supplier performance and drive improvement plans, lead quality audits.
Characterize processes and establish controls to optimize yield, lead-time and product cost.
Support RFQ (request for quotation) process, validate and secure ideal pricing and negotiate product cost.
Minimize product technical, quality and supply risk through preventive action and contingency planning
What we need to see:
MS/BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Have at least 7-10 years of experience in rigid PCB manufacturing processes and Quality, Reliability or Product Engineering and Technical Management
Strong knowledge of cost structure and key drivers will enable cost optimization
Expert negotiation, communication, influencing and analytical skills with the ability to develop & lead supplier and business partner relationships
Strong knowledge PCB fab markets, key players and transactions
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
You are a solution and results orientated leader that is known for your ability to deliver
Willingness and ability to travel within the Asia region
Excellent communication skills and English proficiency
