The PositionThe (Senior) Payroll, Time & Benefits Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of People & Culture (P&C) system data maintenance and administrative activities. This role supports P&C business processes related to payroll, tax, social insurance, time, and various local and global benefits.
The specialist will contribute to the continuous improvement of P&C People Support Solutions (PSS) by analyzing interactions and collaborating with other P&C functions. A broad understanding of local HR processes and tools is essential, as is knowledge of local and global impacts on employee lifecycle management, finance, procurement, and IT. This position requires customer focus, advanced communication skills, and a solution-oriented approach.
Your Responsibilities
Execute system data maintenance and administrative activities for payroll, tax, social insurance, time, and benefits administration.
Provide customer service on pay, time, and benefits-related activities
Ensure that all unions negotiations (if any) associated with PTB activities should be handled properly and in a timely manner
Manage, process, and reconcile mass upload files for all pay frequencies
Ensure regulatory compliance in line with countries, customers, and their regulations
Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships and communications to partner in a proactive and customer outcomes focused way
Actively initiate and participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
Serve as an expert contact for payroll specialists in more complex inquiries and processes
Proactively identify and troubleshoot payroll/time/benefits issues to determine root cause and solutions for resolution
Collaborate with peers within the region and globally to ensure consistent and effective services
Align service delivery and quality with overarching objectives of the global People Support Solutions organization. Manage service quality expectations and address customer concerns
Who You Are
In this role you will be working within a team focusing on a customer group from one of the regions and across various functions and levels within the organization.
You built 3 to 5 years of work experience in payroll services, preferably, in a shared service center environment
You have deep knowledge of local tax and social insurance, payroll cycle and processes /benefits operations/processes, and Workday P&C Processes
You are customer focused, have attention to detail, and are solution oriented
You have advanced analytical skills, and built advanced Excel skills (pivot table, V/H – lookup, formulas)
You are able to work independently in a fast-paced and change environment, and to handle multiple and competing priorities
You have a proven track record of being able to deliver in a matrix organization, in an ambiguous and multicultural environment working across borders
You are fluent in English, Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian. Mastering the Russian and/or Georgian language is preferred
