Donaldson is a dynamic and growing technology company committed to excellence in filtration solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr Payroll Administrator with e-blox (SD Worx) and Workday experience to join our dedicated HR team.
As a Sr. Payroll Specialist at Donaldson, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, utilizing your expertise in e-blox and Workday applications. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Donaldson is on an exciting journey where we are currently implementing Workday Leave and Absence.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, adhering to compliance standards, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Utilize e-blox and Workday software to process and manage payroll activities efficiently.

Stay updated on e-blox and Workday system enhancements to execute best practices for payroll processing.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for all Belgian office workers (+-430, in Leuven and Bruges) and 2X/month for the production workers (+-90 in Bruges) and our remote workers in Scandinavia (+-20 in Norway, Denmark and Sweden).

Review and verify Workday timekeeping records for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Stay current with federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure compliance in payroll processing.

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for accurate general ledger and money movement entries.

Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.

Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters with professionalism and confidentiality.

Work closely with the local HR teams to ensure timely execution of business processes seamless integration between HR and payroll functions.

Possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our employees.
Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years of Payroll experience

Experience with SD Worx / e-blox environment

In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Fluent Dutch and English (spoken and written)

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience

Certification in Payroll

Experience within Workday
-
Experience in payroll for both white and blue collar

Project Management experience including leading system implementations
