In the UK, Pernod Ricard is made up of 4 businesses:

• Pernod Ricard UK, which markets, sells and distributes our products in the UK market
• Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
• Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.
• The Absolut Group, the brand owner of our global white spirits portfolio, whose Gin brand unit and Business Acceleration team sit in London.

We are an organisation of 2,000 employees in the UK, headquartered in London, in a brand-new office designed with sustainability, ‘conviviality’ and collaboration in mind. We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside.

Your new team

This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.

The payroll team are an enthusiastic and dedicated team comprising of a payroll manager, a senior payroll analyst and a payroll analyst.

Your unique contribution

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with UK payroll laws and regulations.

Your key areas of responsibility:

• Process all payroll transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Verify and maintain accurate payroll records and data
• Reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies
• Provide support and guidance to employees on payroll-related queries
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and information
• Keep abreast of changes in payroll regulations and best practices
• Assist in payroll tax calculations and filings

Who you’ll be working with

Internally, you’ll work with the HR Operations and HR Services team including HRIS.

Externally, potentially all employees paid through the payroll system.

Your blend of talent

• Have experience in Payroll in the UK
• Have strong knowledge of UK payroll laws, regulations, and tax laws
• Are a meticulous and detail-oriented individual with a passion for payroll processing
• Have proficiency in using payroll systems and software
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Have effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other payroll software
