As a Senior Pavement Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our pavement design, materials, construction, and rehabilitation projects. From field assessments and investigations to design, training, technical support and post-construction evaluation, you will focus every aspect of completing successful pavement projects.
 

In addition to the above you will:  

• Deliver fit-for-purpose design solutions across diverse projects
• Continuously improve our maintenance and construction practices
• Drive tendering processes, offering technical expertise and innovative solutions
• Carry out field inspections to assess pavement integrity and performance
• Provide construction phase support, ensuring technical excellence
• Promote our team’s capability both internally and externally
• Be a champion of safety, always leading with a "Living Safely" mindset

We’re looking for someone with:

• Tertiary qualification in engineering (or related discipline), or specialisation in pavement engineering
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in pavement design, investigation, testing including sustainability and innovation.
• Solid understanding of pavement engineering principles, Austroads guidelines, and asset management life cycle of pavements and surfacing
• Experience in Circly, Rubicon Toolbox, APSDS and HIPAVE.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng NZ), or working toward being chartered
