Senior Partner Growth Marketing Manager, Merchandising
Expedia Group Business to Business (EG B2B) partners with enterprises such as travel agencies, airlines, financial institutions, membership organizations, and travel management companies to provide them with access to Expedia Group’s travel inventory. We equip our partners with the right data, tools, and technology to empower them to build their business and maximize their potential.
Promotional sourcing is a rapidly growing area in our business, almost doubling in revenue year-over-year. With the development of new Merchandising solutions it’s more important than ever to ensure we deliver the best deal to the best traveler. As a Senior Manager, Promotional Sourcing, you will be part of a highly experienced B2B Growth Marketing team and lead the strategy and execution for sourcing promotional rates across global markets. You’ll work with stakeholders across our Supply Marketing, Supply Strategy, Product, and Expedia Brands teams to deliver high-quality, targeted, and sustainable solutions that deliver value to our partners and their customers. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and growth, as well as optimizing supplier discounts to support marketing and commercial objectives.
What You’ll Do
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across the organization, including Supply Marketing, Supply Strategy, and Expedia Brands teams, acting as a trusted advisor and B2B sourcing expert to align on promotional sourcing strategy.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies that deliver measurable growth and support long-term strategy.
Understand performance and market data to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.
Analyse the competitive industry landscape to define and refine long-term strategy.
Work to execute the strategy and influence product teams to implement key initiatives.
Collaborate with B2B product teams and members of our B2B Growth Marketing team to bring sourcing initiatives to market and ensure appropriate positioning for our partners.
Drive innovation by introducing new materials and processes that enhance promotional campaigns in collaboration with Supply Marketing.
Measure, track, and adjust initiatives based on performance insights and partner feedback.
Who You Are
8+ years of experience, ideally in promotional merchandising, supply, or a similar role within a leading technology company.
An understanding of digital merchandising is essential.
Strong understanding of supply dynamics and rate structures within the travel industry is essential.
Strong decision-making and prioritisation skills, guided by data and business impact.
Analytical and data-driven, comfortable using performance data and market trends.
Experienced in managing complex, cross-functional projects with tight timelines and multiple stakeholders.
Skilled at building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and influencing across functional areas.
Strong communication, with the ability to present ideas clearly to senior audiences.
Self-motivated and able to drive success with limited guidance, while also acting as part of one team.
Organized and proactive, with strong project management skills and a bias for action.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
