8am is hiring a Sr. Partner Account Manager. This individual contributor role will be responsible for developing an ecosystem of healthy and growing integrated partners that provide added value to our customers while leading the strategy, growth, and operations of 8am’s Consulting Program. This position combines traditional partner management with a strong program-building focus, transforming the Consulting Program into a scalable, data-driven revenue growth engine. You will spend approximately 25% of your time managing relationships with select payments partners and 75% driving the vision, growth, and success of the Consulting Program. This role is highly visible & cross-functional, collaborating with teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and others to align partnership strategies with company objectives.

What you'll do:

Partner Management (25%)

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with payments partners to accelerate merchant adoption and retention, align on shared business objectives, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Support co-marketing, upsell/cross-sell, and enablement initiatives to accelerate partner-driven merchant adoption and Revenue.
  • Track partner performance and ROI, applying insights to optimize results.

Consulting Program Ownership and Growth (75%)

  • Own, develop, and scale the Consulting Program into a best-in-class revenue-generating engine.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new consultants to effectively represent and drive leads for 8am’s software and Payments products.
  • Design and maintain training materials, enablement collateral, and resources to empower consultants and their clients.
  • Develop a certification program in partnership with cross-functional teams, ensuring rigor and market differentiation.
  • Drive co-marketing and thought leadership initiatives to amplify consultant success stories and expand brand awareness.
  • Build and oversee reporting frameworks to track consultant activity, referrals, and ROI, using data to inform ongoing improvements.
  • Gather and synthesize partner and market feedback to enhance program design and influence product development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align Consulting Program strategy with company revenue, product, and market objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic leader and advocate for consultants, fostering a vibrant, results-driven ecosystem.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 8-10 years experience in sales, partnerships, or a related field. LegalTech experience strongly preferred; payments experience a plus
  • Demonstrated success in building or scaling partner or channel programs
  • Strong project management skills; experience using tools such as Salesforce & Partnerstack
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue or program growth goals
  • Excellent collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience creating enablement and training materials
  • Analytical mindset with experience in building and using reporting frameworks to drive decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Periodic travel to industry, partner, and company events
