Role Description
Act as a key member of the Group Employment Legal team, supporting both employment law and reward/compensation matters across FNZ’s global operations (UK, EU, North America and APMEA, including South Africa).
Provide high-quality legal and administrative support on a broad range of employment lifecycle, employee relations and reward topics, ensuring consistency, compliance and scalability across jurisdictions.
Partner closely with Legal, People, Finance and other stakeholders to deliver practical, commercially focused solutions, while enabling the Head of Legal, Group Employment and senior counsel to focus on high-risk and strategic matters.

Specific Role Responsibilities
Support employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions, including drafting and reviewing employment contracts, amendments, policies and employee communications
Assist with employee lifecycle matters, including hiring, performance processes, disciplinary matters, grievances and exits
Provide support on restructurings, redundancies and collective consultation processes, including preparation of documentation and coordination across jurisdictions
Maintain and update template documentation (employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements and governance materials)
Support employment litigation and disputes, including document collection, case management and coordination with external counsel
Assist with data privacy and confidentiality matters in an employment context, including handling Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), investigations and whistleblowing matters
Provide support on global reward and compensation matters, including equity plans, incentive arrangements and executive remuneration documentation
Assist in drafting and maintaining plan rules, award documentation and governance materials relating to compensation
Support board and committee processes relating to employment and remuneration matters, including preparation of papers and documentation
Monitor legal and regulatory developments and maintain internal trackers and guidance materials
Manage legal know-how, documentation and filing systems to ensure consistency and accessibility across the function
Support the Head of Legal, Group Employment on strategic projects, cross-regional initiatives and ad hoc matters
Experience required
What you will need: -
Relevant legal qualification or equivalent paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house environment
Strong experience supporting employment law matters, ideally across multiple jurisdictions
Exposure to reward, compensation or incentive arrangements (desirable)
Experience drafting and managing legal documentation and templates
Familiarity with employment lifecycle processes, employee relations matters and investigations
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong drafting capability
Ability to work independently while supporting senior stakeholders
Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a global, matrix organisation
Commercial awareness and pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
Languages, Leadership & Personal Attributes
Fluent English is essential. Proficiency in at least one additional EU language and one APAC or MEA language is highly desirable.
