Senior Palantir Foundry Solutions Developer

Position Overview

SHINE Systems is seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry professional to support anticipated federal programs involving enterprise data integration, application development, workflow modernization, and decision support. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience with experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, facilities, or similar capital-project environments. This is a hands-on development position rather than a traditional training or Field Service Representative (FSR) role. Candidates should be comfortable understanding complex customer processes and translating those requirements into practical, user-focused technical solutions.

This position is contingent upon contract award and customer authorization to proceed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop operational solutions within Palantir Foundry.
• Build dashboards, applications, workflows, and other user-facing Foundry capabilities.
• Support AIP/AIFDE-enabled solutions and integration of AI capabilities into operational workflows.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, data sources, and operational challenges.
• Translate customer and operational requirements into technical Foundry solutions.
• Support data integration, validation, transformation, and development of relationships across enterprise data sources.
• Support engineering, construction, infrastructure, or capital-project workflows throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop prototypes and minimum viable products and mature successful concepts into operational capabilities.
• Coordinate among business stakeholders, developers, data owners, and program leadership.
• Support projects from requirements discovery through development, implementation, and delivery.
• Develop repeatable solutions capable of scaling across organizations and use cases.
• Support demonstrations, user acceptance, documentation, and transition of completed capabilities into operational use.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing solutions in Palantir Foundry.
• Experience building Foundry dashboards, applications, workflows, or similar operational capabilities.
• Experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, facilities, or comparable capital-project environments.
• Experience supporting or understanding the project lifecycle from planning and design through execution and delivery.
• Ability to translate complex customer and operational requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Experience supporting projects through requirements discovery, development, testing, and delivery.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Experience with AIP/AIFDE or comparable AI-enabled capabilities within the Palantir ecosystem.
• Program or project management experience.
• PMP certification or significant experience applying formal project-management methodologies.
• Experience working in waterfall or hybrid project-management environments.
• Experience with ontology development, enterprise data modeling, or complex data relationships.
• Experience supporting federal or Department of Defense customers.
• Experience with Army Vantage or other large-scale Palantir Foundry implementations.
• Experience developing solutions incorporating project, financial, asset, personnel, scheduling, geospatial, or other operational data.
• Experience with asset management, predictive analytics, decision-support applications, or AI-enabled workflows.

Ideal Candidate

The strongest candidate will combine three capabilities: hands-on Palantir Foundry development, engineering/construction domain knowledge, and an understanding of project delivery. We are looking for someone who can sit with customers, understand how a complex project or organization operates, identify the underlying processes and data, and then help design and develop a Foundry solution that supports those requirements from planning through delivery. Project-management experience and familiarity with formal project-delivery methodologies are particularly valuable.

• Work Location: Remote anticipated; travel may be required based on customer needs
• Employment: Full-time
• Anticipated Salary Range: $145,000–$175,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, technical capabilities, location, and final contract requirements
• Start Date: To be determined based on contract award and customer authorization
